The Kingston Bagpuize and Southmoor Millennium Green is on the eastern edge of the village of Kingston Bagpuize, on the old A420 (now closed).  There is safe parking on the road, disabled parking in the Green itself and there is good wheelchair access.  Alongside the 9 acres of the Green is a sports field and a BMX track.  The Bowls Club is also located here.

The Green was opened in September 2000 to celebrate the New Millennium.  We hope it will give pleasure to the people of Kingston Bagpuize and Southmoor, together with folk from further afield, for many years to come.  Since its original conception by members of our Parish Council, many people in our community have helped with the planning and construction of the Green,  giving generously their time, skills, support, enthusiasm and money!  If you would like to support the Green, visit the News and Events page.

But there is much more to discover.  There are wildflower meadows, trees, and a lovely pond.  There are picnic tables and benches, a maze, and lots of open space for children to run and play in safety.  This is a special place for people of all ages to relax and enjoy a little bit of 'man-made' countryside.  And as the trees grow and the wildlife arrives, we hope it will become a very special place indeed.
