The Wildflower Meadow will change from year to year until a wide range of flowers have established here.  We also expect to see lots of bees and butterflies especially in the early summer.  There is a path through the meadow area, so look out for these butterflies in particular if you are visiting the Green.

Every summer the meadow will be cut like a real hay meadow.  This allows the numbers and types of wildflower to build up.  At the moment it contains moon daisies, lady's bedstraw, birds foot trefoil and self heal to name a few.  We will probably add new species as small plants as time goes on.
